St. Dominic Savio School was founded by Late Mrs. Celestine Balu. She served as a Nurse in the Indian Army for 30 years. She started this institute with her love and compassion. Late Mr. Joseph Balu and his wife, Late. Mrs. Celestine Balu were a humble and God-fearing couple. They both served the Indian Army in different capacities for more than 30 years. Mr. Joseph Balu as an Indian soldier and Mrs. Celestine Joseph Balu as a nurse in the Indian Army. They had two sons Mr. Benedict Balu and Mr. Celestine Raja Karier. B. When she was 50 years old, Mr. Joseph Balu passed away and Mrs. Celestine Balu was left with school-going children. She was a giver and was always involved in works of charity. These qualities were imbibed in her children who continue to carry her vision forward. In the year 1987, the family came to Govindapura
