In 1967, the Management decided to upgrade the famous Gulabi Primary School into the high school. Sr Fides was the one who helped in realizing this decision. Mr Sebastian Joseph was the first Headmaster of the High School. The classes were housed in the premises of the Archdiocesan Social Wing- “Workers Centre.” In 1973 they were shifted back to the newly constructed building. Sr Agnella’s arrival on 9th June 1973 as the Headmistress of the fully established High school, gave a new impetus and the School started marching towards greater heights. Through her vision, passion and dedication she has left an indelible mark in the hearts of students and teachers and carved a niche in Bethany Educational Society. This great stalwart and eminent educationalist will continue to shine in annals of Gulabi. Every Headmistress of the High school has responded with warmth to the increasing needs of the school.
